As part of our Service Desk here at Breakwater I am always on hand to answer queries from our clients and to offer a quick resolution to ensure the smooth-running of their operation.

I have particular focus on network administrative functions, including monitoring and aligning clients’ network systems to make sure they are running effectively. I also review our own processes to create a service that is efficient and that utilises the most appropriate technologies so we can provide the best service for our clients.

My experience and values

I have worked with computers since starting high school, equating to about 26 years to date (and counting). My first glimpse into the innovative world of computing was at primary school, with an Acorn Archimedes and a popular pirate ship game (all in the name of education of course) – things have changed somewhat since then!

Since those early sparks of IT enthusiasm, I have furthered my knowledge with various qualifications and have worked within both on-site support and as part of a managed services provider.

Life outside Breakwater

Outside of technology, I enjoy the odd walk and pandering to my cat’s every need – I don’t own my cat, she owns me! I am very much a nerd at heart and much of my time is invested in technology related pastimes such as reading my kindle, TV or the inevitable parental IT Support!
