Technology is such an interesting and ever-evolving field and in my role I am fortunate to be able to expand my knowledge whilst undertaking hands-on projects to support our clients.
As part of the Service Desk, we work together to deliver advice to a wide range of organisations and I assist the team by helping to resolve issues and respond to enquiries, grasping new technologies and processes as I go.

My experience and values
I previously worked in Event Management and HR. However, I wanted to start a new career based on a long-held recreational interest in technology. As a result, I decided to make the switch to IT.
I have been fixing, building and configuring various devices for years. In addition, I have achieved the Comp TIA A+, Network and Security certifications. My current role allows me to study for qualifications and work within the industry.
Life outside Breakwater
When I’m not in the Breakwater office I enjoy music and music culture, cooking, tennis and football. In addition, I read philosophical, scientific and political literature. I’m also happy socialising with friends, playing video games and catching up on the latest gripping TV series to wind-down.
