What is Planner?

Planner is a tasks app from Microsoft. It has gone through a few name changes, originally starting as Planner, moving to Tasks by Planner and To-Do, and now back to Planner.

It allows you to create task lists and assign tasks to yourself, or other members of your team. This could be in the app or added to your teams.

Planner is connected to other Microsoft 365 apps to pull in tasks from multiple sources, such as flagged emails in Outlook.
