We are pleased to share that Jordan Getley, Junior Systems Engineer, has been promoted to a Level 1 Service Desk Team Leader.

Jordan joined Breakwater IT as an apprentice following the completion of an Extended Level 3 Diploma in Information Technology. Jordan has now progressed swiftly from a Trainee to a Junior Systems Engineer, and now into the role of Junior Systems Engineer – Team Leader.

On his promotion, Jordan had this to say:

I originally joined Breakwater as a trainee engineer in 2018. I’m extremely happy and grateful to see my career progress this far in only two years of working at Breakwater. My new role will include me leading and supporting the Junior System Engineers and the Trainee Engineers. I will also be taking part in some internal tasks at Breakwater. Such as frequently reviewing our tickets to ensure that we’re maintaining a high quality of support with our clients.

Our Operations Director, Jack Fisher, oversees the growth and investment of our Service Desk Team. Jack commented:

Jordan is another one of our success stories. He started with us just over 2 years ago as a trainee. Since then he has really applied himself and gained numerous qualifications. This includes CompTIA A+ and MS100 and is about to take his MS101 exam.

He’s shown real dedication and hard work and really deserves this promotion. He consistently gets great feedback from our clients and is a real asset to the Breakwater IT Team. Above all, it’s been a pleasure watching him grow and I can’t wait to see what the next 2 years bring.
