Michael’s free time takes him to virtual realities, and on the service desk his support is out of this world too. As a Junior Systems Engineer he is the first line of support for our clients. Michael’s time is spent answering your calls, solving your problems, and providing excellent customer experience.

Tell us about your previous experience:
Before IT, I was a Lifeguard. Following this, I worked for Aviva for two years in an on-premise IT team. My role included problem-solving and responding to any issues within the business. At Breakwater, I have the opportunity to work for a company that supports a multitude of different organisations. Each with their own goals and technical requirements.
The variety of businesses we work with, and the different products and solutions they employ, enables me to build on my technical knowledge whilst providing a great client experience.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy Motorsport and Combat sports and have competed in a boxing match – unfortunately, I didn’t win! It goes with the job that I also enjoy tinkering with my PC and I am a Virtual Reality enthusiast.
Name one thing about you that surprises people:
I have had a boxing match.
